Welcome to my website! My name is Mrs. Yvonne Renaud and I am teaching grade 8 Language Arts and grade 9 Religion this year. I am happy to be back at St. John Paul II Collegiate for another wonderful and eventful year.
Just so you know a little more about me, I will tell you a little about my journey to Okotoks and our school. I grew up on a farm south of Pincher Creek and have lived in Alberta all of my life. After high school, I attended the University of Lethbridge where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000. Following this, I moved to Red Deer to pursue and complete my Bachelor of Education degree, with a focus on Middle School, in 2002. My first teaching job took me to Vauxhall, a small town not too far from Taber, with wonderful people and great agriculture. After three years there, I moved to Okotoks and have been at St. John Paul II Collegiate ever since!
When I am not teaching, I spend most of my time with my husband Sylvain and my son Jonny. I also love to visit with my extended family, and my friends. I love being active, trying new recipes, travelling to warm places, curling up with great books that I can't put down, and going to movies.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am always willing to connect with students and parents, so please feel free to contact me through email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone call at (403) 938-4600.
Here's wishing you and yours a blessed and wonderful 2017-2018 school year!
